Never Alone

Never Alone exists to ensure that no young person ever stands at the edge of despair without guidance, memory, and community to hold them. We transform the Jewish legacy of resilience into a living, digital ecosystem that teaches emotional strength, identity, kindness, and moral clarity.

You don't need to be better before you belong.

Nothing is wrong with you for feeling this way.

You don't need to go through this night alone.

This is not therapy. This is rescue — without the sirens.

The Crisis We're Addressing

Youth Isolation

Teens are alone with anxiety, fear, and rising antisemitism. Traditional support systems feel distant, intimidating, or irrelevant to their lived experience.

Identity Confusion

Jewish identity feels abstract, political, or burdensome rather than personal and meaningful. Young people struggle to connect their heritage to their current reality.

Lack of Safe Access

Institutions feel intimidating or irrelevant, creating barriers to seeking help. Mental health stigma prevents youth from accessing the support they desperately need.

Never Alone addresses these three problems simultaneously by creating a private, stigma-free digital ecosystem that delivers continuous emotional support, personal embodied identity formation, and belonging.

Golden Threads — Our Letters to the Sun

Sarasota, FloridaJanuary 2026 (Date TBA)

A Live Panel Gathering

There are moments in history when a community must look itself in the eye and decide what future it is willing to build. Golden Threads — Our Letters to the Sun is one of those moments.

This extraordinary evening brings together four influential voices—Rabbi Marc Klein, Cheryl Reibel, Luba Evans, and Rebbi Jessica Mates—for a one-of-a-kind conversation about what it truly takes to weave a peaceful tomorrow in a world that feels increasingly fractured, reactive, and dangerously close to forgetting its own humanity.

This is not another panel of talking heads.

This is a cultural intervention.

We gather to confront a rising tide of antisemitism, polarization, and ideological warfare—not with fear, not with outrage, but with clarity, responsibility, and the most ancient weapon our people have ever carried: the written and spoken word.

Because hatred thrives where stories go untold.

Violence grows where identity collapses.

And a generation without memory becomes a generation without direction.

Golden Threads is a dialogue about the narratives we choose now—about how Jewish identity, emotional resilience, ethics, and spiritual inheritance can be reclaimed, strengthened, and expressed in ways that do not merely react to hate, but neutralize it at its source.

Rabbi Marc Klein

On the moral architecture of community and the responsibility of wisdom in chaotic times.

Cheryl Reibel

On turning historical scars into intergenerational strength, dignity, and agency.

Luba Evans

On the psychology of influence, identity formation, and the art of teaching human beings to choose connection over collapse.

Rebbi Jessica Mates

On cultivating practices that turn spirituality into action, language into legacy, and memory into a living force.

Together, they will explore the question at the heart of our shared future:

What will we pass forward—the shadows of conflict, or the light that dissolves them?

Golden Threads — Our Letters to the Sun invites you to sit inside a living tapestry of ideas, memory, and possibility. It is not only a panel. It is a declaration that the next chapter of Jewish identity will not be written in response to fear… but in devotion to the world we are determined to create.

Seats are limited.

History is listening.

And the future will belong to those who dare to write it.

About Us

The Ground of Resilience

Never Alone stands on the ground Cheryl Reibel reclaimed for all of us—the ground of Resilience.

Cheryl's book, Resilience: Amazing Courageous Stories of Young Holocaust Survivors, is not simply a collection of poems or historical reflections. It is a living bridge between generations—a testimony to what happens when young people face cruelty, terror, and abandonment, and yet somehow choose life, connection, and meaning.

These stories are not relics of the past. They are instructions for the future.

Each survivor Cheryl wrote about began where many of today's youth find themselves: overwhelmed, unseen, and unsure if anyone will ever hear their voice. The fact that these children endured the unendurable—and still held on to their humanity—proves something essential:

Resilience is not inherited. Resilience is ignited.

This single idea is the heartbeat of our work.

The Never Alone app, the curriculum, and the broader initiative draw directly from the emotional architecture expressed in Cheryl's book:

  • Belonging as a lifeline

  • Storytelling as identity reconstruction

  • Art as a pathway to healing

  • Connection as the antidote to despair

Just as her book connects the past to the present, Never Alone connects the present to the future—ensuring that young people today never experience isolation as destiny or silence as fate.

What Was Survived

Where Resilience documents what was survived, Never Alone builds what must now be created: A world where no child, no teenager, no young adult ever faces their breaking point alone.

What Must Be Created

Cheryl preserved the stories. Now, together, we build the systems those stories demand.

Leadership

Inspired by Cheryl Reibel's book Resilience, Luba Evans—Harvard speaker, Master's graduate in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU, recipient of the Financial Executive Award, creator of multiple transformational frameworks, and leader of more than 350 in-person events across the world—is translating Cheryl's vision into the Never Alone app: a modern resilience system designed to ensure that no young person ever feels emotionally abandoned again.
